Accenture works with SkyHive to help customers find and retain talent, and reskill talent. Our joint solutions help organizations understand what skills they have today, identify what skills they need, and identify the gap between today’s skills and the skills needed to remain competitive in the future.

A key aspect of Accenture’s relationship with SkyHive is a SkyHive patented capability called “Quantum Labor Analysis®”, an innovatire approach to gathering and ingesting data on skills – a massive global network that collects skills and skills-related data at a granular level, allowing our customers to get more detailed data faster, informing talent and workforce insights. Our partnership focuses on four primary areas:

SkyHive was initially part of Accenture’s Project Spotlight in March 2020, working with Accenture technologists at The Dock, Accenture’s flagship R&D and global innovation center in Dublin, and at Accenture’s FinTech Innovation Lab New York. In addition to collaborative R&D activities, the Accenture Talent & Organization/Human Potential practice and SkyHive have supported dozens of client use cases related to pandemic response and are helping Global 2000 clients define and navigate rapid workforce changes.

Accenture brought SkyHive into a collaboration with Walmart and Unilever as part of an effort catalyzed by the World Economic Forum’s Consumer Industries Taskforce on Future of Work. Through the collaborative industry effort, the organizations completed a 10-week pilot that served as a proof-of-concept of reskilling and redeployment efforts that, when scaled, can help people remain productive and employable in a transforming labor market.
